Mission Semi-Accomplished?

I'm not ready to declare total victory but I have won some battles with the F chord lately. Apparently the key is just pressing on those barre strings with what seems like excessive and unreasonable force. Exerting enough pressure to, say, choke out an adult grizzly. I know I've got it right when I see sawdust falling from the guitar neck.

I think I had developed a case of lazy fingers. Somehow, how I thought I was at a point where my fingers shouldn't hurt anymore. I just wasn't suffering enough.
